I was brought up in Stratford, Taranaki and started playing golf at the age of 12 at Stratford Golf Club. I represented Taranaki at junior levels, winning the Taranaki Junior Matchplay Championship and Waikato Junior Stroke Play.

I moved to Auckland in 1989, and became a golf coach at The First Tee in 2012. I completed level 1 and 2 as a First Tee Coach, and was trained to be a National Coach Trainer.

In 2014 I established KK Golf and now run a very popular children's after school programme at Maxwells in Ramarama. I also coach at Clarks Beach Golf Cub and Waiuku Golf and Squash Club, taking one-on-one and groups lessons for adults and children of all levels and abilities.

I'm a PGA Coach Member and Titleist Performance Institute certified.
​I have always been passionate about golf and love seeing the development of players with all kinds of abilities.
